I have seen this poetry form pop up a lot in slices. I think I need to explore it a little more!

I’m enjoying the abundance of pantoum slices. This one is so perfect for this time of year too — when, on tail end of a hard winter, we are desperate for signs of spring.

Neat poem. I like that I can read every line more than once! My favorite line was “everything hungering”. It’s evocative, beautiful, and true. We’re all starving for the light and good things to come.

I love how the structure of this poem creates repetition!
You know robins so well. One hops and follows and annoys my husband every time he digs in the front garden! I love all the images in your poem.
Curious….did it flow quickly or did it take time to write this?

I enjoyed trying it out. I like repetition so I like how that is built into a pantoum. The lines came pretty easy but then I worked quite a bit on the order. I kept re-writing them so they might “follow” better in the required pattern. I think some verses work better than others. Think I’ll try it again- there’s more to it than just re-arranging lines 🙂

I love this poetry form, and I loved the idea of not being alone in the garden. Although, now that I think a bit more about that, there are a few things that I really do not want to think about being with me in the garden. Snakes! Spiders!

I think this is so descriptive, a pantoum looks really tough to me, but you have obviously mastered the format!
